Von Steuben Metropolitan Science Center, formely known as Von Steuben Metropolitan High School, is a high school in Chicago, Illinois, located on the north branch of the Chicago River.

The school is named for Friedrich Wilhelm von Steuben.

Von Steuben was named an Outstanding American High School by US News and World Report in 1999 and mentioned in Newsweek's America's Best High Schools list in 2003.

In the 2002-2003 the men’s sophomore basketball team won the Chicago class AA city title. In 2005 and 2006 the men's varsity water polo team won the city title.
